“If you don’t know where you’re going, how do you know you’re lost?”

I wrote this a few years ago and find it as true today as I did back then.
I am for art that comments and critiques everyday life.
I am for art that pushes you to think, explore and grow.
I am for art that breaks into the everyday realm and is subtle yet screaming.
I am for art that is temporary that flutters in and out in a gust of wind.
I am for art that is constantly changes and never can be counted on.
I am for art that is always there as reliable as the sky.
I am for art that races and runs and has no end.
I am for art that just is and nothing else.
I am for art that is confrontational and refuses to be ignored.
I am for the art of a warm cup of coffee that troubles melt over.
I am for the art of a warm bed on freezing winters night.
I am for the art of sunshine streaming through the trees painting its own shadows.
I am for the art that is simplistic and still impossibly complicated.
I am for the art of all mediums being able to intertwine and find balance in one another.
I am for the art where there is exhaustion in passion and passion consumes.
I am for the art that’s color is only surpassed by its taste.
I am for the art that is on the walls of bathrooms, made for no one and everyone at once.
I am for art that is expressive and outgoing.
I am for art that means nothing but is still vastly beautiful.
I am for art that is contagious like a loud infectious laugh.
I am for art that is barely seen but still there all the same brightening the day.
I am for art that is snow covered and more majestic each day.
I am for art of the eyes of a child as they play with a new toy.
I am for the art that is unknown and mysterious.
